son Franklin and others. Site includes news, information, and inspiration.
Ministries of Outreach
Christian Community Development Association
CCDA is an association of Christian organizations whose goal is to give
a hand, not a hand-out. A holistic vision of evangelism and social action
that stresses relocation, reconciliation, and redistribution propels CCDA
member organizations toward church-based ministries working toward empowering
the poor and building up leadership at the grass-roots level. The site
contains a bookstore with key books by Wayne Gordon, John Perkins, and
others.
Ministries of Compassion

with those in need of adequate shelter.
World Vision International
World Vision International is a Christian relief and development organization
working for the well being of all people, especially children. Through
emergency relief, education, health care, economic development, and promotion
of justice, World Vision helps communities help themselves. Supported
by a wide range of mostly Protestant churches, WVI has branches in many
countries, including the United
States and Canada. Most operational
decisions are made at the national or local level.

and publisher of Sojourners magazine which has proclaimed a radical
vision for peace and justice in the Evangelical tradition since the 1960's.
Christian Peacemaker Teams
Mennonites were among the founders of CPT, which offers an organized,
nonviolent alternative to war and other situations where lethal conflict

objection to war, and the development of nonviolent institutions, skills
and training for intervention in conflict situations.
Family Ministries
