Engine for Canonical Texts
ECanon is a database of canonical texts, currently containing four versions
of the Bible, including the NIV. ECanon can be searched interactively
from the home page, or links to specific passages or searches can be
embedded in Web pages.
The Biblical Studies Foundation
A wealth of resources from The Biblical Studies Foundation,
a non-profit evangelical organization. Includes the beginnings of their
own completely new translation, the New English Translation (NET
Bible). Includes extensive notes on the translation and endorsements
by some important Biblical scholars. Site also includes some helpful
articles, most from a fairly conservative viewpoint.
The World Wide Study Bible
A compilation of a variety of study resources organized according to
scripture passages. Find a book of the Bible or a chapter and find scripture
translations, audio readings, commentary, sermons, treatises, hymns,
and meditations.
Online Study Bible
From crosswalk.com, tools include an interlinear Bible, a parallel Bible,
and a "Bible In A Year." Over a dozen translations.
Blue Letter Bible
Impressive presentation of interlinear Bible using King James Version

The New Testament Gateway
A scholarly site from Dr. Mark Goodacre of the Dept. of Theology, at
the University of Birmingham, England. This site includes such things
as the All-in-One Biblical
Resources Search, the The
Greek New Testament Gateway and a host of resources on such hot
scholarly topics as the historical Jesus, the synoptic problem, textual
criticism and women and gender.

commentaries; however, you'll have to dig to find what you want since
there are no notes to tell you the nature of each link. Author claims

A vast array of Biblical commentaries by Bob Utley, retired Professor
of Hermeneutics from East Texas Baptist University. Also contains sermons,

This site offers Revised Common Lectionary resources, scripture

a United Methodist scholar. Wonderfully laid out. Texts are searchable
by week in the lectionary or by books of the Bible.
Preaching Peace
This is a website dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ
from a peace perspective. The authors write most of their own material
and draw heavily on the mimetic theory of Rene Girard. In addition to
introductory material on Girard, most of the material is organized according
to the church year.

Ecunet
This is one of the oldest E-mail resources in computing. Membership
is required, although the "Lite" version is free. Generally
